Spent my time lovely here, I thoroughly enjoyed the place. the hotel was in a central setting very close to the Old Town. It was close enough to the center of Takayama, train station, and a real temple. No complaint, the venue met requirements.

The hotel is located centrally, within walking distance to Takayama Station. it is conveniently close to a temple in the heart of Takayama, as well as various restaurants and attractions in the city center.

Staying at this temple hotel was one of the highlights of our trip. the beautiful decor of the room and the peaceful garden view from the window made our stay enchanting. the staff was so accommodating to our large group, and the electric blankets and heaters kept us warm during chilly fall nights. the shared bathroom was spotless and well-equipped, and the kitchen was a nice addition for budget travellers. the short walk to downtown and train station made exploring the city convenient.

The breakfast had something for everyone - toast and pancakes. the place had a family atmosphere. - the location of the hotel was magnificent - not too far away from a mountainside park.

The Temple Hotel Takayama Zenkoji offered a unique and memorable experience during my stay. The traditional Japanese decoration throughout the hotel, especially in the main temple hall, was absolutely breathtaking. The beautiful tatami rooms with comfy futons provided a cozy and authentic atmosphere, perfect for a senior like me. Not to mention, the hotel's convenient location made it easily accessible for me to explore the main shopping streets and attractions of Takayama.

The only thing I would have asked for is for the children working there to be more attentive to the needs of senior guests. It would have been nice to have additional assistance or guidance for those of us who may require a little extra help during our vacation.

The room has a safe, microwave, and refrigerator, plus a cozy bed. It's decked out in a traditional style. Great spot just a stone's throw away from the Old Town, with a lovely garden and private bathroom, and close to the train station 🌿.

We got great value for our money with beautiful rooms and an excellent view. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from the bustling downtown. The staff treated us wonderfully, providing a detailed tour and great recommendations.

Breakfast delights could have been better, with more variety or unique options on the menu.
